Siebrand Bros Circus…..1954. Mr Clark’s dogs were all black standard poodles. The musicians for the circus were George Vest on organ and “Pancho”Frank Roche on drums.
People are begining to gather at the back of the Midway. The circus was a big attaction, and made Siebrands carnival very successful. There was a cover charge of 25 cents during the 1950’s.
When we started our fair season Big Pete Siebrand would hire extra acts that were part of our grandstand shows. I never missed a Lowe, Hite and Stanley performance….they were a comedian’s comedy act. Henry Hite stood at 7 foot 9 inches.
