He not only was a fine ventriloquist, but he had another talent. During War II as he entertained all over Europe, he did espionage for the US. Who would think that a ventriloquist could gather information for Uncle Sam?

My mother was very proud and happy when she was booked on the Orpheum circuit from  Los Angeles to Boston. The Toni Madison dog act was a headliner in the show.
